ASACP Participating in Phoenix Forum

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) will participate in the upcoming Phoenix Forum in Tempe, Ariz. ASACP CEO Joan Irvine and ASACP Director of Technology and Compliance Tim Henning will both participate in seminars.

"ASACP is honored to be asked to participate in the seminars at the Phoenix Forum and look forward to sharing our expertise and experience with adult companies and webmasters," Irvine told XBIZ. "And we are very appreciative to be beneficiaries of the golf tournament. It is the support of the industry that allows ASACP to carry out its mission."

On March 26, The 4th Annual Phoenix Forum Golf Tournament will benefit ASACP, along with the Free Speech Coalition and Children's Toy Drive 2008. The event will take place at the ASU Karsten Golf Course.

On March 27 Henning will be a part of the Business 101 seminar, focusing on the issues and intricacies of operating a small business. Henning will lend his technical expertise and share how ASACP can help people protect their businesses by protecting children.

Irvine will participate in the Legal Symposium on March 28, where attendees can ask about legal questions and issues related to the adult industry.

"ASACP has been spending much more time in D.C., meeting with lawmakers," Irvine said. "I plan to share what I have learned in my meetings on Capitol Hill and how that affects the adult entertainment industry."

The Phoenix Forum takes place March 27-30 at the Tempe Mission Palms in Tempe, Ariz. The three-day event offers networking, educational and promotional opportunities to adult webmasters and service providers.

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online.
